There is NO SCHOOL Thursday, April 17, Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are Wednesday, April 23.
- Attention students. The Sophomore Career Fair will take place Thursday, April 24th, from 9-11 in Seedorff Gym. On Thursday, do not park on the east side of the gym. (Behind the auditorium) this is where I will have speakers parking so they have easy access to the gym. Thank you for understanding.
- Wednesday, April 23rd, West Delaware is hosting our second annual Junior College Fair! Nearly 20 different colleges, universities, and military branches will be here to talk about college options at their institutions. All Juniors will participate in this event. Please report to first hour for attendance, then head to your designated location sent in your email and posted around the school.
- Prom is Saturday, May 3, for West Delaware Juniors and Seniors and their date. Prom is held at the Pavilion at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Manchester. The Dance begins at 8:00 PM and ends at 11:00 PM. Students must arrive by 9:00 PM. No re-entry is allowed once you leave the Pavilion.
- Prom Dance Tickets will be on sale during all Lunches the week of Monday, April 28-Friday, May 2. Tickets for the Prom Dance are $15 if purchased in advance during lunch. Tickets are $20 if purchased at the door of the Prom Dance. Advanced tickets must be purchased by 1:15 PM on Friday, May 2.
- Junior and Seniors, if you have a date for Prom that is not a West Delaware High School student, you must sign them up in the High School Office before Friday, May 2. Only 1 date per West Delaware Junior/Senior is allowed. Dates must be at least a High School Freshman and not over the age of 20.
- Prom Grand March is Saturday, May 3, beginning at 3:00 PM in Hanson Auditorium at the High School. There is no advanced Sign Up.
- Post Prom is Saturday, May 3, from 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM in the High School Commons, Seedorff Gym and Hanson Auditorium. All West Delaware Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend Post Prom. You do not need to attend the Prom Dance in order to attend Post Prom. Advanced Sign Up is requested by Tuesday, April 22, in the email sent to you from Kay La Rosa on April 3.
- The Student Council is looking for feedback from the student body on what they want to see from members of student council as class elections approach! Take a few minutes to fill out this survey and share your voice!
- ACT TEST: The last two ACT test dates for the year are June 6th (registration deadline May 9th) and July 7th (registration deadline June 6th). Sign up at act.org.
- Help us spread positivity at WDHS by sharing good news! Whether it is to classmates or staff, drop a brief description as to why they deserve a shout out below and we will share them in the morning announcements!
- COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE – Interested juniors and seniors who would like to have a quick meet and greet with college representatives are welcome to come to the Counseling Office for the assigned times below. You do not need to bring anything with you.

Thursday: Chicken nuggets, roll, potatoes and gravy, cheesy broccoli, strawberries, melon
Friday: School cheese pizza, salad, carrots, apple, peaches, snickerdoodle cookie
