Regular Schedule
Seniors: If you did not attend the cap and gown meeting yesterday, please stop by the office to pick up an order form. Even if you have a cap and gown you are borrowing, you will still need to order a tassel.
You will order Caps and Gowns during LUNCH on Friday, October 31.
- High School Boys & Girls Bowling – If you are interested in joining the High School Boys or Girls Bowling Team, please complete the Google Form emailed to you by Kay La Rosa, and attend the Informational Meeting on Monday, October 20, at 2:55 PM in the High School Commons.
- There will be a boys basketball meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 22nd right after school in Mr. Stoltz’s room. If you’re interested in going out this winter, you should attend the meeting.
- Join a Boy’s High School Swim Team! West Delaware High School participates in Boy’s Swimming through
Dubuque Hempstead High School. They have carpools available, and they are flexible with practice times.
The Boy’s Swimming Assistant Coach from Hempstead will be here on Thursday, October 23, in the High School Commons at 3:00 PM to discuss the upcoming season. Please plan to come to hear the information!
- Seniors: On Tuesday, October 21st you will be participating in the Real-Life Academy in the Upper Gym. Please check your email and the list by the commons for times and expectations. If you have any questions, please stop down and see Mr. Harms.
- Registration for Spring PICC classes has begun. Students who are scheduled to take a PICC class need to check their email from Mrs. Piersch. Deadline to select your class is Friday November 4th. No late forms are accepted.
- ACT TEST: The next ACT test is December 13th with a registration deadline of November 7th.
- College, Career and Armed Forces Representative Visits: Let’s talk college and career in a quick meet and greet with a college representative. This is a great time to ask about Financial Aid, Housing, Careers, Campus Life, Athletics, etc. Check back to this list frequently as representatives will be added as they become available! All visits will be in the Counseling Office at 9:15 unless noted otherwise.

- Northwest Iowa Community College – Thursday, November 13th

Wednesday: Breaded pork patty, waffle fries, baked beans, blueberries, mandarin oranges
Thursday: Turkey dinner, roll, potatoes and gravy, squash, kiwi, peaches
Friday: Pizza dippers, salad, green beans, grapes, applesauce, no bake cookie
