Seniors: You will order Caps and Gowns during LUNCH TODAY! Please bring your order form with you to lunch
- Student Council is hosting its second annual Halloween Costume Contest on Friday October 31st! Prizes will be awarded for Most Original, Spookiest, Best Group, and Best Teacher/Staff. All costumes must adhere to the WDHS dress code and may not include fake weapons, gore, masks, or blood.
- My name is Michele Africa and I am your prom sponsor, and I am looking forward to working with all of you to organize and bring together a fun night for Prom which this year is Saturday, May 2. I would like to set up a meeting so that we can go over a few Ideas for Prom, what I ask of all of you while on the committee and just get to know each other a little better. I would like to get together this coming Wednesday, November 5 at 7:15 AM in the Commons/lunchroom of the High School. I hope to see you all there, if you are not able to attend just let me know! See you then!!
- Seniors who have not turned in their senior photo to Mrs. Temeyer are encouraged to have their photo taken on picture retake day this Thursday. Senior photos submitted after November 1 are not guaranteed to appear in the yearbook.
- Registration for Spring PICC classes has begun. Students who are scheduled to take a PICC class need to check their email from Mrs. Piersch. Deadline to select your class is Friday November 4th. No late forms are accepted.
- ACT TEST: The next ACT test is December 13th with a registration deadline of November 7th.
- College, Career and Armed Forces Representative Visits: Let’s talk college and career in a quick meet and greet with a college representative. This is a great time to ask about Financial Aid, Housing, Careers, Campus Life, Athletics, etc. Check back to this list frequently as representatives will be added as they become available! All visits will be in the Counseling Office at 9:15 unless noted otherwise.
- Iowa Air National Guard – Tuesday, November 4th – table during the lunches
- University of Northern Iowa – Monday, November 10th
- Northwest Iowa Community College – Thursday, November 13th
